Lady Pirates played a great game today against Humansville, but came up short 30-19 in the 6th inning, in a very cold and windy game. The girls made a heads up double play on defense, 5 hits, 7 stolen bases and 9 RBIs. It's going to be a great season for Lady Pirates Softball!

Bullseye! Several Macks Creek archers traveled to Branson to compete in the State Archery Tournament this weekend. Eva Willis, Wyatt Brooks, Mason Molt, Ava Willis, Kaelee Keehler, Cash Stoner-Ehorn, Taeler Osborn, Joe Hufferd, Calvin Eidson, Jade Stasiack, Daysha Brooks, Aiden George, Kaylee Hicks, Zane Brooks, and Madelynn Kinney all earned a trip to State thanks to their hard work throughout the season. Eva, Wyatt, Mason, Ava, Kaelee and Cash all shot over 260. Kaelee and Calvin both shot a new PR. Eva, Wyatt, Mason, Ava, Kaelee, Calvin, Taeler, Jade, Aiden, Zane and Madelynn all scored higher than their season average. 3-D target shooting is new to MC this year. Our team started competing in 3-D at the end of January. Cash has been strong and consistent. His season average, season high score, and his state score only varied by 4 points. Cash, Ava, Mason and Joe all shot over 250. Ava, Calvin and Kaylee had new PR's. Ava, Mason, Joe, Kaelee, Jade, Eva and Calvin all shot over their season average. While our archers didn't qualify for nationals, our team experienced tremendous growth over last year. Coach Wommack predicts we will have highly competive HS and MS teams next year. Great job at State archers and congratulations on a great season! We are proud of you! #MCPirates
