Macks Creek Art Club is looking for new artists! Open to any student 7th-12th grade. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20-5pm. If you are interested in working in the haunted house, you need to join Art Club. we also will be working on studio projects, murals, contests, sales, and theater productions.
Middle School Basketball Boys and Girls will have a short parent meeting on Wednesday after practice @ 5:00-5:30.

All the way from Kansas City, KC Wolf helped the Macks Creek Pirates kick off the 2024-25 school year by showing up on the first day of school and speaking to students and faculty about Attitude, Behavior, and Character. Back to School Night is this upcoming Monday August 19th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Please accompany your student to this to get your back to school packets, schedules and meet our wonderful teachers. There will be a meeting for 7th grade at 6:15 p.m. and 9th grade at 6:45 p.m. in the gym.

Back-to-School Clothing Give Away: First Baptist Church of Macks Creek is hosting a clothing giveaway for children and youth on Friday, August 2nd from 4 to 7 PM and Saturday, August 3rd from 9 AM to noon. In preparation, they are accepting
donations of clothing, shoes, backpacks, purses or anything school related in a nice, clean condition. Please drop donations off at FBC between 8-4, Monday through Thursday. This event is free to families with children. #MCPirates
Missouri is currently awaiting approval on a new program called ‘Missouri SuN Bucks’, aimed at helping families buy groceries for their school-aged children during the summer. Families of students who were determined eligible for free or reduced-price lunch during the regular school year will receive a one-time $120 benefit per eligible student. At this time, Missouri SuN Bucks is pending approval. However, parents should start preparing for when the program launches.
