Our HS Cross Country teams will be running in districts this weekend. Plato School district will be hosting the District 2, Class 1, 2 and 3 Cross country meet this Saturday, November 2nd. Tickets will need to be purchased in advance at: https://www.mshsaa.org/Tickets.aspx
Select Cross Country, then select the "Get Tickets" button next the the Plato HS Event.
The boys will run first at 1:00 PM and the girls will follow at 1:45. #MCPirates

Macks Creek Senior India Willis proudly represented the Macks Creek community today at the inaugural 417 Elite 50 "Proving Grounds" College Showcase. The event highlighted 50 of the region's top female basketball players and attracted numerous local college coaches. Congratulations, India! #MCPirates

Our FFA finished their tour of Casey, IL, stopping by the world's largest pencil, wind chime, rocking chair and seesaw. We are glad you are having a safe and fun drive home from Indy! #MCPirates
On Thursday, Macks Creek FFA students attended National FFA Opening Session. At session, students heard inspirational messages from national officers and our key note speaker Kevin Wanzer. Later students attended the career expo where they had the opportunity to see a variety of agricultural careers and college programs. Some students also attended the leadership workshops. They wrapped up the day at Rascals Fun Zone where students got to ride go-karts, play minigolf, and play in the arcade.

The Pirates XC Team competed in the El Dorado Springs Invitational earlier this evening. Vaughn Vasquez (20:28) took 14th, Parker Christian (24:11) took 45th, Sean Green (25:50) took 54th, and Chase Christian (28:00) took 59th. These athletes continue to work hard and are enjoying the camaraderie of the sport. The team will prepare for Districts on Nov 2nd at Plato. Good job today Pirates! #MCPirates
Two Lady Pirates XC athletes 🏃♀️ raced at the El Dorado Springs Invitational this afternoon. Today's meet pitted Addison Ratliff and Jade Stasiak against several other small school XC teams. Addie (25:14) finished 12th, and Jade (30:26) took 28th. The ladies will spend the next week and half preparing for the District meet in Plato on November 2nd. Congratulations to Addison Ratliff, who is the 2024 Girls Cross Country PCL Conference Champion, and the entire Macks Creek XC team for an outstanding morning at the Humansville Invite/PCL Conference Meet! For the XC Pirates, Vaughn took 15th in the meet while Chase and Parker both posted PR's. For the XC Lady Pirates, Jade earned All Conference (with a 10th place PCL finish) and Addie's 1st Place finish in the PCL earned her the title of 2024 Conference Champ! Addie also took 4th place overall in the meet. Bailey and Sean both ran well. Great job today XC team! Our team will travel to El Dorado Springs for their next meet this Tuesday.
