Here are the girls and boys basketball District Tournament Brackets. We are hosting the Boys tournament in Macks Creek. The girls are traveling to Wheatland for their District Tournament. #MCPirates



Congratulations to Aidyn Merchant for claiming the Class 1 District 2 Championship in the 175 lb weight class! Aidyn completed the District tournament 3-0.
Aidyn and his sister, Kamora, will represent the Pirates and Lady Pirates Wrestling programs in Columbia next Wednesday and Thursday (February 21-22). #MCPirates





MSHSAA Class 1 Distrist 2 Boy's Wrestling has Macks Creek competing at Butler High School. Senior Aidyn Merchant punched his ticket to the Finals and to State in the 175 lb. weight class! He will wrestle later this afternoon for a chance for First!

A fourth quarter offensive surge comes up just short as the Pirates fall 48-44 to the Cardinals.
Macks Creek is hosting the Class 1 District 7 Boy's Basketball Tournament next week. They will open postseason play on Tuesday as the four-seed and play the fifth-seeded Climax Spring Cougars at 8:00 p.m. #MCPirates

Halfway is able to stretch their advantage to 10 and now lead the Pirates, 38-28. #MCPirates

The second quarter is a game of runs. Halfway hits a three at the buzzer to push their lead to 24-17. #MCPirates

One quarter complete. Macks Creek trails Halfway, 11-8. #MCPirates

The Lady Pirates conclude their regular season with a 70-32 win over the Halfway Lady Cardinals.
The Lady Pirates are the one-seed in the Class 1 District 5 Tournament in Wheatland. They will play next Wednesday in the Semifinal round against the winner of Climax Springs and Tuscumbia. That game is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. start. #MCPirates

Macks Creek builds on their lead with a balanced scoring attack and maintain their advantage over the Lady Cardinals. #MCPirates

Heading into the half the Lady Pirates continue to move offensively and lead 45-11. #MCPirates

At the end of the first quarter the Lady Pirates lead the Lady Cardinals, 22-7. #MCPirates

A year of firsts for the Macks Creek Wrestling program continues as they have their first-ever Girl's State Qualifier! Congratulations to Sophomore Kamora Merchant for placing third and qualifying for the Girl's State Wrestling Competition in Columbia on February 21-22! To advance, wrestlers must place in the top four in their weight class at Districts. Kamora worked back through the Consolation bracket, picking up four victories along the way Saturday and finishing the District 5-1.
Macks Creek Sophomore Gabby Eversole finished her District Tournament with a record of 1-2. Great first season Gabby!

Macks Creek celebrated Homecoming this evening. Congratulations to the Pirates and Lady Pirates on their victories over Fair Play! MC celebrated the 2014 Pirates Basketball Team this evening. The Team reunited to celebrate 10 years since their memorable run to the Final Four. Head Coach, Dr. Brad Briscoe and Assistant Coach Greg Seward and the majority of the team were present for this special recognition. As Dr. Briscoe, shared we are proud of these young men for their accomplishments during the 13-14 season and even prouder of the fine young men they have become! Well done 2014 Pirates! #MCPirates



Macks Creek celebrated Homecoming with two wins over Fair Play!! Great games teams!
Following the games the 2024 Homecoming Court was announced. Lahnae Lewis, Ashlee Klinksick, and Jessica Weyhersmueller were Queen candidates while Jose Cortez, Kyler Gabriel, and Dakota Willis were running for King. Our returning King and Queen, Logan Gallamore and Vanessa Wallace, returned to pass their titles to this year's royalty.
Your 2024 Homecoming royalty are Miss Lahnae Lewis and Mr. Jose Cortez! Congratulations to all the candidates!
