Three Macks Creek students attending the Lake Career and Technology Center showed off skills this evening. Karlie Gilbert, who is enrolled in Automotive Mechanics, taught how to change transmission fluid. Sean Green and Addison Ratliff are both enrolled in the Criminal Justice program. Sean gave Dr. Phillips a practical demonstration of effective handcuffing. Addie modeled the use of UV radiation to detect fluids not visible in normal light. Macks Creek is proud of all our students studying at LCTC and appreciated the opportunity to see a few of them in action at tonight's open house! #MCPirates

Cost for students to ride the pep bus has been covered by an anonymous donor! All students will need to ride the bus will be proof of purchase of a game ticket!
Sign up to ride the bus has been extended to 11:00 a.m. tomorrow! They will need money for concessions if they choose to purchase anything at the game.

Good evening Pirates! The Lady Pirates are back in action tomorrow evening in Sectional play at Liberal against the Lady Bulldogs! Game time is 6:00 p.m. Tomorrow's game is a 'Black Out' theme! Wear District Champhionship shirts or black t-shirts! Ticket purchase information is available in a previous district message. You will need the presale code to order at this time.
There is a pep bus for students in grades 7-12, but a minimum of 10 students is required for it to go. Cost is $5 to ride. Students will also need to have proof of ticket purchase when they sign up in the high school office. The deadline for sign up is 10:00 a.m. tomorrow (Monday). 1. Your presale code allows purchase of ticket(s) during a protected timeframe, it is not a guarantee of a ticket
2. Navigate to www.mshsaa.org
3. Click on the Ticket icon at the top of the home page
4. Select the Girls Basketball image tile
5. Select Class 1, this will bring up all events in your class and will be organized by start times
6. Choose your matchup from the list of events
7. You will see ticket sales do not begin until 2/26/2023 12:00PM, this is when presales expire
8. Click the link Have a passcode?
9. Enter the provided presale code LSH76M and click Apply
10. Enter the number of tickets and click Checkout
11. Enter card information to purchase the ticket
12. Ticket will be sent to the email address entered for presentation at the gate for admission, which may be printed or remain on the device for scanning

The MC Cheerleaders are again planning to sponsor a Pep bus (minimum 10 students) for grades 7 - 12 to cheer on the Lady Pirates at their next stop on the road to State this Monday at Liberal. In order to ride the bus, students must sign up in the high school office by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26. In order to sign up for the pep bus students must show proof of their ticket purchase. Tickets must be purchased online for $8 (plus a processing fee). Please note: No tickets will be sold at the door. The cost to ride the bus is $5 and the bus will depart at 3:15 p m.
