The Macks Creek and Climax Springs FFA Chapters are teaming up for a Pink Out game during the basketball game scheduled for January 21 at Climax! Last year, the Climax FFA group raised approximately $1700 to put together 70 Chemo Bags. These bags are filled with items such as blankets, water bottles, hand sanitizer, and journals. This year the two Chapters are teaming up for a neighborly competition. They are selling 'In Memory Of' and 'In Honor Of' ribbons, as well as t-shirts and hoodies. The competition is to see which group is able to raise the most funds! Initially, 85% of the funds raised are going to be used to create the Chemo Bags for the Lake Regional Cancer Center. The winning FFA Chapter was set to receive the remaining 15% as a prize to donate to the cause of their choice, however each group has pledged to donate it towards more Chemo Bags. This means that all funds raised will go towards creating bags for the Cancer Center! Anyone wishing to purchase a ribbon, t-shirt, or both, can reach out to a member of the Macks Creek or Climax Springs FFA Chapters. Ribbons are $1 each. T-shirts are $18 and hoodies are $30. Add $2 more for sizes 2XL and above. Checks need to be made payable to Climax Springs FFA. Order forms will be available in the Macks Creek High School Office and at home basketball games on Tuesday (12/10), Thursday (12/12), and Friday (12/20). Thank you for your support of the Macks Creek and Climax Springs FFA Chapters in their fundraising for the Lake Regional Health System's Cancer Center! #MCPirates

Macks Creek Wrestling update from the Osage Dual: Versus Osage: Kamora won her dual match 27-12 in the 3rd period. She also picked up an exhibition match win by pin in 27 seconds. Owyn, Will, Michael, John, and Bentley all wrestled great 2nd matches. Unfortunately, they all fell by pin. It was a great first outing for the Macks Creek wrestling Pirates. It will be great to see what these kids can do as the season continues! #MCPirates
