A typo on the previous post concerning physicals:
The date should have said March 19, 2019 to March 19, 2021 for physicals received on that date.
Attention Pirate Athletes:
Just a clarification on the MSHSAA By-Law regarding physicals. MSHSAA now allows a physical exam certified by a medical professionals (MD/DO/ARNP/PA/Chriopractor) to be valid for a duration of two (2) years from the date of issue. Example: A physical that was received on March 19, 2019, will be valid until March 19, 2020.
If an athlete got a physical at any time during the 2018 - 2019 school year, they will be exempt from getting a physical for this year. Those that did not get one will need to get one and have it on file at the school prior to practices. Also, any incoming 7th grader participating in a sport must get a physical.
Insurance, concussion, and all other pertinent materials are still required annually. A link has been provided to the page for the new physical form on the MSHSAA website. Click on the MSHSAA Resources and you will be able to see a link for the new physical form, as well as the link for the annual information items.

Adriana Mayer and Autumn Miller both competed and had great performances today as well. Adriana posted a PR in the 100 meter. Great job Pirates! #MCPirates
