Please send students to school with drinking water tomorrow and on Wednesday. Due to recent repairs by PWSD #1 to the system serving our campus, we are under a boil order through Wednesday. The district purchased sufficient bottled water this morning to distribute to every student for today, but we ask students please bring water the next two days. Please note the water is safe for cleaning and washing, but not for consumption. Our cooks are boiling any water used for cooking for the required amount of time to ensure it is safe to use. We have also informed everyone on campus and placed signage on each of our bottle filling stations (we no longer have water fountains because of COVID-19) and faucets. We will sufficiently flush these stations and faucets before students resume using them on Thursday. Thank you for your help keeping our thirsty Pirates safe and hydrated! #MCPirates

We are having a wonderful first week of the new year with students! What a privilege it is to work with such wonderful children and families. Here are the latest Macks Creek School COVID-19 figures: We have two positive student cases in the MS/HS and zero in the elementary (YTD in all grades = 13). We do not have any positive cases among staff (YTD = 7). Five students are in quarantine in the elementary and nine in the middle/high school. No staff members are in quarantine.
