Eight students from the Class of 2021 were fortunate enough to spend a week in beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida. After navigating the airports, many of our travelers had a first time experience of flying in the friendly skies. That was definitely an adventure. We arrived in our beautiful home for the week with the majestic waters of the Atlantic literally right outside our door. Our travelers enjoyed playing in the water, catching a tan ( or maybe a sunburn, ouch) throwing a frisbee, or playing in the waves. On Wednesday, we were up bright and early and were on our way to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We stayed from opening until close. Tired is an understatement, but we enjoyed flying through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, falling in a raft of total darkness on the Jurassic Park River Adventure, and hoping we made it through Skull Island, Reign of Kong. Our week concluded with one more beach day, dinner at Crabby Joe’s, and hitting all the souvenir shops. Thank you to all of our supporters throughout the school year! Our students had a wonderful time and made memories that will last a lifetime.
Please enjoy photos from the trip which include pictures of the seaside house the seniors stayed in on Daytona Beach and photos of the group at Universal Studios:
