Senior Night Group

The Macks Creek Pirates and Lady Pirates, as well as the Lady Pirates Cheer team, recognized their Seniors this past Friday night during their contest against Weaubleau. Their individual write-ups and photos appear below: 

Brooklyn Duggan is the daughter of Ron and Nicole Duggan. She has been at Macks Creek since 7th grade and has played basketball for the last 13 years. She has been a member of the basketball team as player/team captain, FBLA, and Student Council (President/VP) for four years; a member of NHS for three years, track and student government for two years, and Leadership Camden County for one year. Upon completion of high school she plans to attend the University of Missouri to study Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. Her favorite Senior year memory has been celebrating so many different accomplishments with her best friends. Her favorite high school memory is winning the Homecoming Olympics her Freshman year. A favorite basketball memory is staying the night in hotels with the team and winning two District Championships.

Brooklyn Duggan

Addison Ratliff is the daughter of Kenny and Renae Ratliff. She has been at Macks Creek since her Sophomore year. Addie has been a active in cross country and basketball as a captain for four years; a member of FBLA (VP of Membership), FCA, and Student Council (Treasurer) for three years; and NHS (VP), Student Government, SKills USA, Constitution Project, Track, and LCTC (Law Enforcement/CSI) for two years. She plans to attend Missouri Southern State University and major in Sport and Recreation Management. Her favorite Senior year memory is watching Paxten and Sean play ‘Just Dance’ at Emma’s house. Her favorite high school memory is making Quarterfinals her Sophomore year and playing basketball with her best friends. Her favorite basketball memory is the late night conversations that happened in hotel rooms and staying up all night to play at midnight during her Junior year.

Addie RatliffEmma Seaholm is the daughter of Bill and Raquel Seaholm. She has been at Macks Creek high school since she was in preschool. She has played basketball all four years as a team captain. She has been a member of Student Council (Secretary and VP) for four years and a member of NHS for three years (Secretary). After graduation she plans to attend the College of Charleston in South Carolina to obtain a Business degree. Her favorite Senior year memory was doing a Senior Sunrise on the first day of school and then everyone going to breakfast afterward. Her favorite high school memory is winning the Homecoming Olympics during her Freshman and Junior years. Her favorite basketball memory was getting a black eye during the Osceola Tournament her Freshman year, and then getting another one during summer basketball.

Emma SeaholmIndia Willis is the daughter of Byron and Shawna Willis and the late Lisa Hyde. She has been at Macks Creek Schools for all 13 years. She has been a member of the basketball team for four years as a player and team captain. India has played basketball and been a member of FBLA for four years; and also a member of softball and NHS for three years. After graduation, India plans to attend State Fair to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. Her favorite Senior year memory is getting to stay in a hotel with all the basketball girls when they played at Mizzou. Her favorite high school memory is the Senior Sunrise and the Friendsgiving at Emma’s. Her favorite basketball memory is making it to Quarterfinals her Sophomore year, Emma getting a black eye at the Osceola Tournament, and then getting to play at Mizzou.

India WillisRiley McCarty is the daughter of Jessie McCarty and John Register. She has been at Macks Creek since 6th grade. She has cheered for three years between MS and HS, and has also been a member of FBLA and STUCO for one year. After graduating she plans to attend Cosmetology school. Her favorite Senior year memory is Cadet Teaching for Second Grade. Her favorite high school memory is watching herself change to be the best version no matter what happens. Some of her favorite cheer memories are the rides home from basketball games and practices, and watching the girls work so hard each day. 

Riley McCartyNick Hicks is the son of Nichole Van Scoy and George Hicks. He has been at Macks Creek since 5th grade. He has been playing basketball for the past 4 years. He currently attends LCTC in the Marine and PowerSports program. After high school Nick plans to attend the Elite Lineman program in Georgia. His favorite Senior year memory is dunking on Coach Snelling. His favorite high school memory was when Paxten went crazy. His favorite basketball memory is spending time with and having fun with his teammates.
