Macks Creek Archers endured the cold and competed in the Conway Shootout today. The team shot flights of arrows at conventional bullseye targets as well as 3-D targets. In bullseye, our team scored as follows: Mason Molt (268), Izzy Willey (264), Kaelee Keehler (259), Sebastian Sanchez (251), Calvin Eidson (249), Zane Brooks (239), Taeler Osborn (232), Colton Martineau (230) and Aiden George (221). Izzy took 1st place and Kaelee took 2nd place amongst the 8th grade girls. Great job Izzy and Kaelee!
On the 3-D side, Mason Molt scored a 268, took 3rd place and qualified for State. Way to go Mason! Kaelee shot a 242 and took 3rd place in the MS girls category. Well done Kaelee!
While several archers were unable to compete because of illness and the weather, those who were able performed well. Coach Wommack shared several were only a few points away from state qualification. Maxwell Molt participated in his very first tournament today and took 3rd place in the elementary boys category. Great job Max and well done everyone! Below are photos of today's action:
